Our decision
As artists prefer to be on the prom rather than be indoors, we will only provide the out-
Each artist will decide whether to come or not.
Either
Plan A. All rail signs will be put up as usual.
Or
Plan B. We will give rail signs at the Station underpass and then you are on your own.
Experience so far (20 events)
1⅓ events indoors
August 2004 was indoors in 3 venues.
Few visitors & poor sales.
June 2006 we said it would be indoors
but
only 9 artists went indoors - poor sales
25 stayed on the prom, did better
- and enjoyed it.
April 2008 forecast was dry morning & wet afternoon, but was the opposite. Those who stayed made sales.
The artists are always right!
