Our  decision

 As no place in Grange can accommodate all the eighty artists who come to Prom Art, we will only provide the out-door option.
Each artist will decide whether to come or not and whether to stay or not. If the weather is very poor we may allow artists to leave early, you will be told this on arrival.
The Lawnsman comes on the prom from the station underpass at 3.45pm so an early exit is not usually possible.

We will put up all rail signs as usual.

We hope to announce this by 7.00am as the forecast isn’t made until 6.30am.
Experience so far (25 events)

 1⅓ events indoors
August 2004 was indoors in 3 venues.
 Few visitors & poor sales.
June 2006 we said it would be indoors
 but
only 9 artists went indoors - poor sales
     25 stayed on the prom, did better
 - and enjoyed it.
April 2008 forecast was dry morning & wet afternoon, but was the opposite. Those who stayed made sales.
The artists are always right!
